Who we are
TREES Services
Training, Regeneration, Education, Employment, Sustainability (TREES) Services is a social enterprise based in the East Midlands. We reinvest our profits into our vision of 'delivering social justice through enterprise'. We were founded to create employment and training opportunities to three disadvantaged groups: people affected by homelessness, armed forces veterans and ex-offenders.
Along with running a number of our own social enterprises, TREES Services promotes and supports social enterprise development through partnership working across the private, public and social enterprise sectors.
TREES Services run several businesses that operate in a range of commercial and social sectors including TREES Building Services where we provide a range of construction services including property refurbishments, design and new build, property maintenance and alterations and extensions.
In 2010 TREES, in partnership with Action Homeless and HMP YOI Glen Parva, set up Action Trust which provides training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders, homeless people and armed forces veterans. This has expanded from the initial cleaning business to include painting and decorating, gardening, handy-man services and catering.
Houses2Homes (H2H) was founded in 2012 and is an innovative project that employs and trains armed forces veterans to transform derelict properties into homes for ex-service families most in need.
